Vaidya Anu PK, a passionate and emerging Ayurveda practitioner has over ten years of experience in clinical and research aspects of Ayurveda in the effective management of a vast array of diseases. She is a proud alumnus of Nangelil Ayurveda Medical College, Kothamangalam. She had later pursued her post graduation in Rasasastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana (Ayurvedic Therapeutics) from SDM College of Ayurveda Hassan.
She bring along her expertise in Rasasastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana (Ayurvedic Therapeutics) to effectively manage many diseases which include lifestyle management disorders, metabolic syndrome, diabetes, cholesterol, weight loss, gastritis and musculoskeletal diseases to name a few.
Formerly she had served as a Research Associate for the project entitled “Development of pharmacopoeial monographs on Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs) of manufacturing processes and quality standards of Ayurveda/ Siddha/ Unani/ Homoepathy (ASU&H) formulations (including stability studies)” sanctioned by Pharmacopoeial Commission of Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy (PCIM &H), under Ministry of AYUSH at CARe Keralam, Koratty, KINFRA , where she handled Development of SOP of Ayurveda formulations, Planning, preparing and execution of Ayurvedic herbal and herbo-mineral formulations, Development of monographs of formulations, hand-in-hand work with the Phamacognosy, Chemistry and Microbiology department in drug standardization and development. She has an eye for detail in literary research and documentation, communicating new product developments to prospective clients and organizing skill development courses to research students of scientific community. She had also served as Program Assistant, Pharmacovigilance at SDM Institute of Ayurveda and Hospital, Bengaluru where the nature of work consisted primarily of reporting and updating of Adverse Drug Reactions and Misleading Advertisements, organizing classes, seminars and awareness programs to doctors and students about pharmacovigilance and ADR with regular follow up and evaluation of patients exposed to the same. She also worked as a content creator in www.ayurvedam4you where she had handled submission of blogs for Lifestyle and Wellness page content and health related posts in the website, developing consumer Ayurvedic and health content across multiple medical topics and specialties, edit, copyedit, proofread and create content for web based promotional materials (social media posts, web pages, learning modules etc.) targeting the healthcare community

She has an eye for detail in the management of queries related to aesthetic and cosmetic concerns. She employs the treatment modalities in Ayurveda with practical approach understanding the patients’ concerns and handles them effortlessly boosting their morale in the same. She had also served as Consultant physician in Nihari Ayurveda Retreat, Kerala where she had handled OPD and IPD patients, online consultations ,formulation, maintenance and updating of individualized care and diet plans while working closely with Nursing Head/ Staff to coordinate care for residents.
She is always keen on understanding the concepts of Ayurveda and its applicability in research and development. She is an avid reader and has a passion for writing and has a few publications to her credit. She was also a participant in many national and international Seminars and conferences related to Ayurveda. She motivates herself to be updated with the latest trends in the science. Dr Anu strongly believes that passion and perseverance is instrumental to strive ahead in Ayurveda which aid in the growth and advocacy of this great science to the masses desirous to achieve the abode of good health and happiness.
