 Dr. Falguni Gandhi, BAMS, N.D.

Ayurvedic Physician & Integrative Health Leader

Dr. Falguni Gandhi earned her Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S.) and Diploma in Naturopathy (N.D.) from Bombay University in 1984. She relocated to the United States in 1985 and, for several years thereafter, worked with Maharishi Ayurveda, where she had the privilege of consulting patients alongside Dr. Deepak Chopra.

Subsequently, while residing in El Paso, Texas, Dr. Gandhi taught Herbology and Ayurveda at the University of Texas at El Paso. She moved to Houston in 1995 and, a few years later, assumed leadership responsibilities in her family-owned medical clinic organization, serving as Chief Operating Officer for over 27 years.

Dr. Gandhi’s family has a strong legacy in medicine. Her husband and both daughters are board-certified physicians in Internal Medicine, and her daughters have completed fellowships in Lifestyle and Integrative Medicine.

From 2009 onward, Dr. Gandhi also served as a radio jockey on Houston’s Masala Radio, hosting the program “Ayurveda Today.” The show aired for several years and includes more than 75 recorded episodes, contributing significantly to community education on Ayurveda and holistic health.

She holds an Ayurvedic Doctor Professional Membership with the National Ayurvedic Medical Association (NAMA), Los Angeles, California. Deeply engaged in cultural and community leadership, Dr. Gandhi has served the India Culture Center (ICC) in multiple roles, including Secretary, Treasurer, Vice President, and President. She was nominated as President in 2017 and has contributed over 14 years of service as a board member. Her dedication to Indian culture and heritage is deeply rooted in her lifelong study of Ayurveda and Vedanta.

In addition to her medical and cultural work, Dr. Gandhi is a licensed Realtor in Texas, specializing in commercial real estate.
