Shilpika Devaiah is the founder of Ayur-Shilpi Ayurveda & Wellness and is a certified Ayurveda Physician (Vaidya) through NAMA (National Ayurvedic Medical Association) & AAPNA (Association of Ayurvedic Professionals of North America) organization. She received her Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine, and Surgery which is a 5-year program from Rajiv Gandhi University Of Health Sciences, Bangalore, India, and her Diploma in Panchakarma from Ayurdhama Ayurveda Hospital and Yoga Retreat Center in India. Shilpika also has a 200-hour Yoga Teachers Training Certification from the renowned Sivananda Yoga Ashram, India, specializing in Hatha yoga. Shilpika is also certified as an Ayurveda Yoga Therapist by NAMA. She is also trained in Ashtanga-Vinyasa principles and has held multiple Yoga workshops in Rishikesh, India, Om Cafe, Sri Lanka, etc., to support prakruti.
Shilpika has worked with multiple communities across the world, organizing health and wellness camps to help people in rural areas with little or no access to medical facilities. Shilpika also conducts workshops on guided meditation techniques using tools such as Asana, Pranayama & Pratyahara. She has also worked at JSS Ayurveda hospital in Mysore, India as an Ayurveda doctor and also in Manhattan, New York. Shilpika is a caring Ayurveda practitioner with strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in patient assessment, diet and nutrition charts, weight loss programs, wellness therapies, and concierge program design and enjoys inspiring others to improve wellness and commit to long-term health and fitness goals.
